We’re always focused on providing safe, reliable, affordable power while accommodating all of our customers’ needs, including the use of electric vehicles. That’s why we’re ready to meet the increased demand from electric vehicles as more enter the market. We have made many upgrades and improvements each year to improve reliability and we believe we have one of the most, if not the most advanced transmission and distribution systems in the country.
We believe electric vehicles are a viable, cost-effective, environmentally conscious means of transportation. That’s why we add electric vehicles to our fleet, offer EV charging stations for our employees at our facilities, and install battery-operated bucket lifts on our trucks.
We have more than five dozen electric, hybrid, or plug-in hybrids being used by our employees. We have set a goal to transition 100% of our light-duty vehicles to electric or hybrid electric models by 2030.
We're proud to join more than 50 electric companies to for the National Electric Highway Coalition to support the development of EV charging infrastructure along major U.S. travel corridors.
